Nintendo Switch

• The system has three primary modes of play:
  • TV Mode: The console is placed in a docking station connected to a television via an HDMI cable for playing games on a large screen.
  • Tabletop Mode: The console's kickstand is used to prop it up on a flat surface, with players using the detached Joy-Con controllers.
  • Handheld Mode: The Joy-Con controllers are attached to the sides of the console's screen, allowing it to be used as a traditional portable gaming device. 
  Key features and specifications of the original Nintendo Switch model:
  • Controllers: The system uses two detachable controllers called Joy-Cons, which can be used together as a single gamepad, individually for multiplayer, or attached to the console itself.
  • Display: It has a 6.2-inch multi-touch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. When docked to a TV, the video output can reach up to 1080p.
  • Storage: It comes with 32 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2 TB using a microSD card.
  • Game Media: Games are available on physical game cartridges (Game Cards) or through digital downloads from the Nintendo eShop. 
  Other versions of the console include the Nintendo Switch Lite, which is a handheld-only version without a dock, and the Nintendo Switch – OLED Model, which features a larger, more vibrant 7-inch OLED screen and a wider kickstand.
